User Manuals
There are three basic user manuals that we have developed for using Mango Maps within the MbCDP.
We recommend printing out the Quick Start Guide, a short 5 pager, so that you can use this as you initially learn basic mapping skills in Mango Maps.
The Basic Mapping with Mango Maps training document provides more detail than the Quick Start Guide and describes how to use some of the advanced functionality in Mango Maps.
Also, check out our Training Page, where we are starting to build out training curriculum materials for the portal. The Community Data Training Manual is a 3 hour training curriculum which contains 6 step by step hands-on exercises which can be used to learn to navigate and use the tools in the MBCDP.
The Case Based Tutorials are designed to provide the end-user with a quick way of figuring out how to do what they need to do. Each topic provides step by step instructions on how to accomplish a specific task. Worked examples are provided for the more complicated tasks. Direct links to relevant instructional videos are also provided where these are available. If you are trying to think through how to accomplish a specific task, scan through the topics and find the task that most closely approximates what you are trying to do. The Case Based Tutorial document comes in two flavors. You can download the document directly, or you can access the document on-line below.
