Training Resources
We are now starting to put together training resources for the Manitoba Collaborative Data Portal and have developed an initial training curriculum that can be delivered in a 3 hour workshop setting (either in a computer lab, or in a small group or one on one setting with note- book computers).
A dry-run of the curriculum was undertaken in June, 2019 with 20 community based organizations in a teaching lab setting and received positive feedback from participants in terms of the amount and complexity of material covered.
Please feel free to download and use these teaching resources which currently include a student training manual and a quick start guide for Mango Maps. We are in the process of building out Instructor support materials including an overview Powerpoint teaching slide deck and a step by step instructor manual which will be published here when completed.
